Our main Covid-19 actions are

• Temperature check (and questionnaire) for all arriving guests and suppliers
• Masks mandatory for all staff / available for guests upon request
• Support of social distancing measurements
• Increased cleaning/disinfection of public areas

Koh Phra Thong is Thailand’s third-largest island. But despite this, it is only 5% inhabited, and for tourists still more or less unknown. At BABA Ecolodge, we are happy about this. We hope that for many years the island can retain its authenticity, ecosystem and absent mass tourism and the many damages it can cause.

It also means that this is probably one of the safest places to be in the whole world. The island is like a small village community where you take care of each other and the surroundings we share.
Therefore, we also do not use keys or locks at our lodge and have not needed it in the 20 years the place has existed in various guises.

Concerning the Covid-19 situation, we also make our precautions. However, we do not yet have a single case on the whole island, almost all activities take place outdoors, and we are more than abundant on space if you want a bit of social distance and privacy. You will have your own house with a private terrace and garden – and the beach is 12 kilometres long.

Furthermore, we are following the situation closely and closely follow the government’s guidelines.
